Graduate Student Chengyuan Wang Shares Insights on “Developing Scientific Thinking and Academic Growth in Frontier Forestry Research”

To enhance academic exchange among young scholars and broaden graduate students’ research perspectives, Mr. Chengyuan Wang, a graduate student from Prof. Xuegang Mao’s research team at Northeast Forestry University, was invited to deliver a special lecture at our university titled “Cultivating Scientific Thinking and Academic Growth in Frontier Forestry Research.” The session was attended by faculty members and graduate students from the college. During his presentation, Wang structured his talk around four key themes:

Drawing from his own research experience, Wang shared his perspectives on the integration of forest ecology and remote sensing, emphasizing the importance of scientific reasoning and critical thinking in academic research.
