KUNMING, CHINA – November 22, 2025 – Zhu Kun, a graduate student from the Forest Intelligent Sensing (FIS) research group, participated in the 10th China Forestry Academic Conference (https://meeting.csf.org.cn/) held in Kunming, Yunnan Province, from November 21 to 24, 2025. The conference was hosted by the Chinese Society of Forestry and Southwest Forestry University.

Mr. Zhu presented his research in a report titled: “Coupled effects of topography and climate shape the spatial patterns of forest canopy clumping index across China.” His presentation showcased the latest findings from the FIS group’s work on understanding China’s forest ecosystems.
